Roma

Children
Poverty

Have you ever had to walk somewhere in shoes that were not appropriate for the weather. A messy run to the subway in flipflops during a heavy rain? A slosh through a winter storm in old tennis shoes? Samuel Bistrian grew up in Romania, as 1 of 12 children and knows first hand what it’s like to live without proper shoes. That’s why in 2010 he founded Roma to bring street children and orphans hope, love and lasting change by donating a pair of rain boots for every pair purchased. I really love these brands in the buy-one-give-one category that bring comfort because there’s a universal gratitude for something like dry feet. You’ll feel it every time you wear your boots and so will a child half way around the world.
